Narcbait 

Somebody who is irresistible to narcissists because of having high empathy and a desire to help troubled people. This person will eventually be discarded by the narc when they have sucked all the compassion out of the victim that they can or when a new source of ego fuel presents itself.

I was nothing but narcbait to my scumbag ex and didn't even know it. I know better now.
