Nail Log

A Canadian drinking game. Participants gather around a large piece of wood and attempt to hammer a nail into the log with the lowest number of hits. If you miss or bend the nail, you have to drink. Nail Log often deteriorates into "Nail shit to other shit".

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
