When sending a gift or meme to someone but you select the wrong, completely out of context one next to it.

Derp 1: "haha, yeah it was like a whale!" *inserts gif of hump day quotes*
Derp 2: "dude, I don't get it..."
Derp 1: "aww man, I sent the wrong thing, total misgif. My bad.."
Derp 2: "eww you just misgifed alol over my inbox"
