Meataphor

Any word used to replace the name of the source animal of a meat with it's euphemistic title, such as "Beef", or "Pork" as opposed to "cow" or "pig".
"Would you like the chicken, fish, or beef entree?"

"What's a beef?"

"It's a meataphor."
