Louganis is basically a synonym for the word gay, which can be used with both positive and negative connotations. The term derives from the family name of Olympic diver and gay advocate Greg Louganis. The beauty of the word is found both in its appropriation of the gay diver's name, but also in its intrinsically gay phonetics (Lou-GAYYYY-nis).

1- Boring Definition: Olympian Diver famed for breaking his head on the diving board and covertly leaking AIDS into the pool.

2- Cool Definition: Sexual act. Performed by engaging in intercourse and bending your partner over a coffee table or other low surface requiring them to use their arms to hold themselves up. Longanistas

A group of friends, involving at least a few Filipinos, who regularly meet while celebrating their "best lives". Just like the Filipino sausage that inspired the name, the Longanistas are linked together for life with a strong bond of friendship and mutual respect for each other. Most Longanistas are very sweet, but some are spicy characters that keep the conversation interesting and never dull. Every Longanista is independently confident and strong-minded, but together, as Longanistas, they are a force to be reckoned with.

They are always loud and having a blast during their parties, they must be Longanistas.
