Internet dweller

A socially inept person who dwells on the internet because he doesn't have much to do in real life. They often hang out with other internet dwellers in online forums, message boards and other social networking websites, creating many diverse communities.

Not to be used to describe a person who simply browses the internet a lot, as internet dwellers also tend to stay away from the more mainstream social networking sites and only browse the more obscure corners of the internet, like what a real-life dweller would do.
Ben doesn't have a very exciting social life nor is does he have the motivation to try out any hobbies. Therefore, he spends most of his time online as an internet dweller.

Noun. Portmanteau of "street" and "road": it describes a street, er, road, built for high speed, but with multiple access points. Excessive width is a common feature. A common feature in suburbia, especially along commercial strips. Unsafe at any speed, their extreme width and straightness paradoxically induces speeding. Somewhat more neutral than synonymous traffic sewer.
Did you see what the traffic engineers want to do to our street? They're going to turn it into a total stroad!
