Gucci muj

'Gucci muj' is used to describe mujahideen who come from wealthy families. By the hardscrabble mujahids, this is used pejoratively, and the distinction was used by Al Qaeda to disparage Nike and other bling-wearing mujahideen from the Islamic State.
From a Guardian article: "... he was known as one of the "Gucci muj", the scions of rich Arab families who poured into Afghanistan in the late 1980s to help the rougher-hewn mojahedin fight the Soviets. "
