A website you go to when you're hungry but don't want to go outside and eat. You can order food online, customize it, and have it delivered to your house. You can even tip them through GrubHub so there's little interaction between you and the delivery person, and you get to eat the food faster.
Me: I'm hungry but lazy Friend: Order food from the place across the street on GrubHub
A cursed rewards program made by the food delivery service GrubHub. The rewards program, or at least an ad for it, was populated by a meme, where people make fun of the ad, adding different music and adding effects to it.
“GrubHub Perks give you deals on the food you love. The kinda deals that make you wanna boogie.”
-GrubHub Dad
The shittiest ad in the whole fucking world. It is so bad that it makes me want to slide the barrel of a fucking gun down my throat and pull the trigger. All the characters used in the ad look like stolen assets from the minions movie and the entire ad was made by some fucking idiot who sniffs permanent markers.
Grubhub perks give you deals on the food you love, the kind of deals that make you wanna boogie. *Plays the shitty grubhub ad music*
A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
