The process of using heroin and methamphetemine (aka
meth, crystal
meth, ice, etc) simultaneously.
Goofballing is achieved by mixing heroin and
meth together in a single rig (syringe), and then slamming (injecting) the mixture into a vein.
Procedurally, goofballing is nearly identical to speedballing, except a goofball mixes heroin & meth, where a speedball mixes heroin and
cocaine or crack
cocaine.
At the most basic & simplistic level, I explain goofballing as “Heroin AM.”
After doing a goofball
one will feel all the euphoric, “feel good” effects of the heroin, a “downer” but none of the usual feelings of drowsiness and tendency to nod that goes along with it. Instead,
one will feel a burst of energy & creativity, as well as the ability to stay awake for many days in a row (like it or not), from the addition of methamphetemine, an “upper.”
It makes
one feel on top of the world, but beware: add too much meth and instead of feeling on top of the world, it can feel like you’
re floating away from the earth, a gnarly feeling to be sure, but also highly disconcerting, to put it lightly!
