When you lack the energy or motivation to accomplish said task.

Similar to "fake it til you make it"

Dude 1- "I'm impressed how well your handling your break up bud!"
Dude 2- "I just gotta stay fauxtivated and everything will fall into place."

fauxtivational speaker 

1. A person who writes, posts, or otherwise speaks stupid cliches in order to assist someone with their personal short comings.
2. Someone who is as fake as they come, who tries to evoke motivation.

Bob: Hey my girl just broke up with me.

Mr Helpful: Don't worry bro there are plenty of fish in the sea. If you love someone set them free, if they come back they're yours to keep. You cant count all your eggs before they hatch. It will happen when you least expect it.

Bob: Thanks but I don't need another fauxtivational speaker man.

Pronounced FOE-ti-va-tion.

Faking motivation to get through a mundane and otherwise lame workday or task.

It's taking all the fauxtivation I can muster to finish these TPS reports.

The emotional state one achieves when you frustrate yourself to the point of motivation.

"I got so tired of being out of shape that I frustivated myself into a smaller pants size"
