Failure Management

Failure management encompasses a comprehensive set of practices aimed at addressing and mitigating issues or faults in systems, products, or processes. It begins with the detection of failures, whether through sensors, monitoring systems, or human observation, followed by a diagnostic phase to understand the underlying causes. Once identified, strategies are deployed to reduce the impact of the failure, which can involve immediate fixes or the implementation of redundancy measures. Furthermore, failure management emphasizes learning from failures to prevent their recurrence through improvements in design, processes, or training. Proper documentation and risk assessment play vital roles in this process, ensuring that organizations can effectively respond to and learn from failures to enhance reliability and safety.
Failure management involves the systematic identification and diagnosis of faults or issues in systems.

It is followed by the implementation of effective mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

Proper documentation and risk assessment are integral components of failure management, aiding in the development of strategies to prevent future failures and maintain the integrity of systems and processes.

failure management

A company designed for managing the amount of failure in the world there is. Invented by Steven He in 2020.
Steven He: Do you know where the failure management is?
Me: No? Why?
Steven He: Because I want to tell them my son is a FAILURE!
Steven He's son: Dad I'm right here

Stink lines

As seen in illustrations or cartoons: Wavy, vertical lines rising above a person, place or thing. Denotes a foul odor.
"You didn't put enough stink lines on your picture of the teacher."

schmegegge

Yiddish slang word meaning bullshit, baloney, hogwash, nonsense, crock of shit or hot air.
I don't buy the schmegegge about Morty sleeping with Moira.
His version of the story was pure schmegegge.
The whole schmegegge was made up to get Liz a little bit of attention.

eye bleach

Looking or experiencing something nice after witnessing something horrid like a disgusting gif or a disturbing video. Typically used as eye bleach are nice images of whatever makes the disturbed person happy.
"Bleach my eyes! Why is that woman's face ripped off!?"
*Looks up images of puppies and kittens.*
"That's good eye bleach."

Noun. Portmanteau of "street" and "road": it describes a street, er, road, built for high speed, but with multiple access points. Excessive width is a common feature. A common feature in suburbia, especially along commercial strips. Unsafe at any speed, their extreme width and straightness paradoxically induces speeding. Somewhat more neutral than synonymous traffic sewer.
Did you see what the traffic engineers want to do to our street? They're going to turn it into a total stroad!
