Family Neighborhood Crips, a gang hailing from Baltimore MD to NJ all the way to the small city on of providence RI mainly the west end & parts of the south & also now Warwick/west-Warwick. They’ve been known previously as 8 deuce neighborhood Crips and wear orange & blue FNH was started in 2006’ originally standing for family never hoes after the common way to identify this crip faction which is to say “what you chase?” To which a real 82 neighborhood crip would say “Family’ neva chase hoes we drop hats” and it was created as a break away east coast neighborhood Crip faction after new politics came around making the 823 gangsta Crips drop the tre & rep 82 neighborhood. Due to the beef some of the deuce members had with the tre members ran into murder beef and the gang never recovered splintering into two main factions FNH & 82boyz which are peaceful today but started out with some beef from 06-11’ when wooski a family member of a friend & family member of both 82’s & FNH was killed leaving the Crips out for blood.

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
