etobicoke

The borough of Etobicoke, (pronounced: e-toe-bi-coe) known as a Township prior to 1967, joined the City of Toronto in the amalgamation of 1998. Etobicoke forms the majority of the western part of Toronto, though it should be noted that Missisauga, Brampton, and Oakville are all more westerly than it.

Etobicoke is a mixed area, with more affluent areas such as the Kingsway and Bloor West Village, and less prosperous areas such as Lakeshore and Albion.

It should be further noted that Jane and Finch, although a notable area, is NOT in Etobicoke, in fact, it is much closer to Vaughan.
Me: Etobicoke is part of Toronto.
Guy: Yep. This isn't really necessary because the definition was pretty long.

Short for Etobicoke, the western part of Toronto, Canada.
Etobs has many varied neighbourhoods, from poorer immigrant areas in the north ie Rexdale, to million dollar ravine homes in central Etobicoke ie, Thorncrest, the Kingsway, Edenbridge, Humber Valley , to historical areas along the lake ie, Mimico, Long Branch .
I have to get on the subway now, its a long way to etobs.

Etobicoke

A great community filled with nice people, beautiful homes, great schools, and a very green, down to earth place. Home of the Kingsway, Humbertown, Ontario Place and Lake Ontario. Sure, there are areas that are more run down, and have crime, but what community doesn't?
Man, Etobicoke is such a great community.

Don't judge Etobicoke by The Park Lawn Ghetto or Jane and Finch.

Etobicoke School of the Arts

Etobicoke School of the Arts is a high school which specializes in the arts. To become a student of this fine establishment, one must audition into one of the six art majors (visual art, drama, dance, music theatre, instrumental, and film) and if you are a hater, that means you are jealous because you can't get in.
person#1: What high school are you going to?

person#2: I'm planning on auditioning to go to Etobicoke School of the Arts for visual arts. I heard that it is very high caliber and only those who possess real talent in the arts get accepted.

person#1: Cool! That school sounds super-mega-foxy-awesome-hot!

Etobicoke School of the Arts

Possibly the biggest druggie school you will ever hear of in your life
