Dugan is unique in it's flexibility in both written and verbal lexicon, in that the term can be used as a noun, verb, adjective, or any variation thereof (e.g. gerund) depending on the context. In every form, it is used to describe something derogatory.

In street prostitution, the dugan solicits customers while waiting at street corners or walking alongside a street, sometimes dressed in suggestive clothing.
