Deflective Idealist

An individual who attributes their personal challenges and frustrations to society, the average person, or systemic flaws, rather than engaging in self-reflection or taking responsibility. They vocalize their grievances with moral certainty yet remain trapped in a cycle of denial and inertia, resisting meaningful personal growth.
Example:
“Despite his constant critiques of society and ‘the common man,’ he refuses to examine his own faults — a quintessential deflective idealist.”
