It's ADHD but has been renamed as DAVE(D) meaning: Dopamine Attention Variability Executive Dysfunction
It's more of an explanation than Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Because we don't have a defcit , our brain just does not pick up the dopamine we need! ❤️

Instead of telling people she had ADHD, she said that she was diagnosed with D. A. V. E. (D.)

Acronym for:

Dabble in friendship
Approach cautiously
Value time together
Extend story-telling

Friends at the hockey game:

Dave: Hey, check out that girl there.
SF and JBK: Wow, she's cute. You gonna go for it?
Dave: Of course. The D.A.V.E. system never fails.

Later in evening:

Dave: Guys, you have 45 free minutes? I have a great story!!!
SF and JBK: No, not again.
