Often conceited people who think they must be given special treatment and may not be criticized, and their creepy behaviour towards others is just a sign of sophistication and "knowing one's way around". Can thrive in places where one may not be straightforwardly criticized for one's actions and behaviour ("disrespected"), except to be patronized by "higher beings" who may not be criticized either, and where being conceited and affected is the rule.
