CLΣOPΔ+RΔ

The ghastly misspelling of the name Cleopatra as it appeared on the movie poster for the historical biopic hoping to star Gal Gadot as the Ptolemaic Greek pharaoh of Egypt. The movie poster was removed from the movie databse IMDB after internet users mocked the misspelling.

CLΣOPΔ+RΔ is an ignorant destruction of the Greek alphabet by people who don't actually seem to care that the name Cleopatra is of Greek etymology. Cleopatra is spelled "CLΣOPΔ+RΔ" by those who are uninterested in preserving one of the oldest languages in the world.

CLΣOPΔ+RΔ is a word that only makes sense to people who don't care about the Greek alphabet or language, but still want not be Greek in the movies.
I'm so excited about CLΣOPΔ+RΔ! It looks like a really fun sorority! Wait, what?

CLΣOPΔ+RΔ

The ghastly misspelling of the name Cleopatra as it appeared on the movie poster wishfully hoping to star Gal Gadot as the Ptolemaic Greek pharaoh of ancient Egypt. The poster was removed from the movie database IMDB after internet users mocked the ignorant and offensive use of the Greek alphabet.

"CLΣOPΔ+RΔ" is a non-word of ignorant origin used by people who don't care about Greek culture or the Greek language but adamantly desire to cosplay being Greek in the movies.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
