Buddacheese

Buddacheese was a popular snack in the late 90's and early 2000's that consisted of two long sticks of cheddar cheese coated in a butter flavored salt mixture. It was commonly sold in convenience stores or mini marts and came in several different forms: Buddacheese Sticks, Buddacheese Slices, and Buddacheese Cubes (with sticks being the most favored). The name was derived from the terms 'budda' (butter) and 'cheese'. Despite the huge success of Buddacheese, it was mysteriously removed from the shelfs in mid 2007 although it may make a return in the future. This product was famous for being associated with the hood and well-liked by the black community due to its cheap price and ebonic name. Buddacheese also had a long lost and forgotten brother, Popcorn Pouches.
