Astaire 

The act of tapping one's foot on the floor, while seated in a public bathroom stall, to alert anyone trying to enter the stall (see turd burglar) that it is occupied. Named for actor/tapdancer Fred Astaire.

I was on the john takin' a dump and had to perform an Astaire cuz somebody kept trying to open the stall door.

noun, verb, adjective and great movie star: 1. graceful, exquisite, suave, and perfect. 2. to act in this manner. 3. Fred Astaire, the best dancer ever (Baryshnikov even said so), who was the epitome of suaveness and elegance combined with superb athleticism and grace. In the Hollywood of the 30's and 40's, he was hugely popular, combining the cool of Bogart with the class of Carey Grant. An actor, drummer, and singer, he had famous song composers vying to write songs for him- one truly cool dude.

The Rogers-Astaire Effect 

Named after black-and-white movie stars Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, both of whom were amazing dancers and ended up as dancing couples in many of their movies. The effect refers to when someone develops or increases romantic feelings for someone while dancing with them.

Oh man, I just danced with her, and I think she’s the one. Must be the Rogers-Astaire Effect.

When you are eating out your girl with two fingers inside and you start pretending your fingers are Fred Astaire’s tappity tapping little feet against her G spot.

Last night I was eating Trudie out and I stuck two fingers in and danced them around on her G spot and gave her The Fred Astaire tap dance.
