a buddy kid

Share definition Flag
A buddy kid is a sad excuse for a human being. They are funny at first but after awhile all they do is freakin steal your jokes and make annoying puns. They think they are a mix of emo, gamer, hacker, and programmer. But they really dont cut themselves, arent good at videogames, they dont know the slightest thing about hacking, and know about 5 commands in a programming language.

a buddy kid

A Buddy kid is what you call someone who belongs to the subculture of Buddy. Similar to how people of the Emotional subculture are called Emo, people of the Buddy subculture often refer to them selves as being Bud. The characteristics of a typical buddy kid include being funny most oftenly in a deeper more intellectual way (if you are a buddy kid you find puns to be quite enjoyable), being handsome yet still looking like a complete loser and being interested in good, meaningful music. The fashions of Bud are snug pants (not to be confused with emo "tight pants"), dc skating shoes, and canadian pride t-shirts. Also the hair style of Bud kids include all types but those with curly "jew fro" hair are seen as the only true buddy kids and are looked up to as leaders of their local Bud scene. Buddy kids do not talk/hang out exclusively to other Buddy kids in the hopes they can convert people belonging to other cultures to become Bud. Buds usually like traditional emo music but are by no means limited as long as the music is interesting and different. A kid who is very similar and hangs out with buddy kids yet is not a Bud is called a Mac kid. A mac kids is funny and Bud like but is also into sports and semi belongs to the group of "popular" yet not really liked kids. Buddy is a fast growing movement and will be by no dout a manstream fenaminon in a matter of months and with such things come poser Bud kids. A poser bud kid is only interested in campitaising on the buddy mind set and have no interest in actually becomeing "bud". It is recomended that you do not give these kids any sort of respect and never consider them Buds like you. The steps to becomeing bud are this
1. Become as unique as you can without breaking any of the rules or guide lines of being bud
2. Get at least 3 other kids to become Bud with you
3. Stay bud no matter what other say or think (don't worry they'll want to become Bud too later on
4. Stay true to the bud
Omg that Jew fro is sooooo Bud. Wow im such a loser wish I was a Buddy Kid.

helping a buddy out

Share definition Flag
This is when one straight guy gives another straight guy a handjob or blowjob. This is not a gay act if the rules of the Bro Code are followed: 1) the recipient must not have the option of sex with a female easily available, 2) the helper must be doing it as a favor to a friend and not receive any sexual pleasure from performing the act, 3) the act must be reciprocated, although not necessarily contemporaneously, 4) the act must never be revealed to third parties, 5) no kissing, 6) no contact with the recipient's ass. This act is frequently done under the influence of alcohol or other mind altering substances. If the act does not involve simultaneous reciprocation, the helper should keep his pants on. See also brojob.
A: My girl is out of town and I'm horny as shit. How about helping a buddy out?

B: No problem, Bro.

A: You want me to do you?

B: Naa, I've got a date tonight. You can get me next time she's on her period.

A friend that you have because you paid to belong to a private club or group. Someone that is not a true friend but a fake friend.
John is not going to hang with us today, he is golfing at the club with a bunch of his Rent-A-Buddies.

Steve joined the country club to schmooze with the Rent-A-Buddy that is the CEO.

I had a buddy who...

Share definition Flag
By stating that someone "had a buddy who" once did something, the user can follow the comment with any random made-up bullshit that he/she desires, but be justified because he/she "had a buddy" that once did that. This "buddy" has always done something better than anything you could ever do, and is a classic one-upper. This "buddy" is someone that only the person telling the story knows, so the claim cannot be refuted, since no one knows the "buddy" to say otherwise.
Mark: "I once got stranded on the interstate for 2 hours in a snow storm"
Jim: "That's nothing, I had a buddy who... once was stranded in a snow storm for 4 weeks and 2 days, he survived by eating his tires"
Mark: "Really?" "That sounds very unlikely, who was that?"
Jim: "No, its true, he was my buddy, you wouldn't know him"

“Everybuddy Needs a Buddy” System

Share definition Flag
Definition
A foolproof group buddy system in which one pairs oneself with a reliable “buddy” during wild adventures or escapades.

Purpose
The purpose of the system is to ensure safe return of all people in a group by grouping each one with a designated “buddy.” Each buddy in a pair is responsible for their respective buddy’s safe return to their friendly abode.

Outcome
As long as both buddies buy into the purpose of EBNB System, the system works to perfection and the persons return safely in one piece from their wild night out. However, when buddies begin to neglect their responsibilities, the results can become chaotic and could lead to a buddy sleeping in a hotel room that is still under construction.

WARNINGS:

1. The EBNB system is only guaranteed to work for groups that have an even-number of persons. For some reason, the EBNB system is overwhelmed and fails when trying to accommodate an odd number of persons in a group. Our most logical guess is that assigning multiple buddies to a single person becomes infinitely more difficult than having a single buddy to watch over.

2. For whatever reason, the EBNB system never works when your buddy’s name is “Cookie Monster.”
CHUCK: Hey guys, I have a crazy feeling we’re gonna get buckwild tonight. I think we need to implement the “Everybuddy Needs a Buddy” System tonight.

STEVE: What happened to Josh last night? It’s 10 AM and he is nowhere to be found. I guess we’re going to the pool without him.

(4 hours later, Josh arrives at the pool in bewilderment)

TODD: What the hell happened to you last night? We called hospitals and jails looking for your ass.
JOSH: I have no idea. All I know is that Cookie was my buddy and everything else is a blur.

The new guy seems pretty happy for a dude who has no job, no money and no family. He must be on a pink cloud.

Striver

Share definition Flag
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.

The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
Anthony was a striver. He transfered from a TTT to an IVY and graduated in 2 years. He studied his ass off and went to Penn Law. He got a Biglaw offer. But lost it all because of an unmoderated mesasgeboard.

Successful strivers:
- Barack Obama
- Harold Koh

- Just forget about it, you don't have enough SkyPesos to fly anywhere.
