八千 

Chinese slang. Means some Hong Kong protestors protest for the sake of money. Firstly leaked from a HK "protestor"'s Facebook, hiring different kinds of "protestor workers", salary ranging from 1000,2000to 5000, which adds to 8000. Since then, those professional (fake) protectors all called by "baqian"（八千）. Similar to wumao(五毛）
指香港的某些“和平”示威者，其实都是收钱办事的，拿不同的钱做不同的事情，从Facebook曝出来的消息中有1000/2000/5000三种不同价目的工作，而这三个加起来就是8000
所以这个八千其实说的就是这些收钱办事的人，跟五毛党的意思是一样的，不过就是这些人收的钱更多罢了
