It is commonly associated with IRC chat,
Meaning Internet Relay Chat.

!sync is a known command for the module bs_fantasy_ext
commonly associated with Anope.

It is used to syncronize all users access in the channel.

Note: By default only Admin (&) and Owners (~) can change users access, See !acc

Sync up 

v. The act of multiple friends intentionally loading the same pornographic video simultaneously from their respective computers and masturbating to said video. This is often coordinated by phone, which is commonly left on speaker throughout the video. In more serious cases, the friends will enter a video chat room with each other through services such as those provided by Skype and AIM.

Example 1:

Dylan: "Hey, man. Got any plans after class?"

Cody: "Well, not really. I'm probably just gonna go home and fap."

Dylan: "Same, bro! We should totally sync up."

Example 2:

Dakota: "Hey, guys. I found this really hot vid on the net. You guys all wanna watch it at my house tonight?"

A joke in the Dream smp fandom, more so common in the Dnf fraction of the Fandom, where Georgenotfound and Dream(wastaken) woke at at the same time and texted each other.

The texts were read out loud by dream on stream, and has been clipped and viewed by people many times.

1)Milli Vanilli.

2)Ashlee Simpson.

3)a version of lip movement in which a recorded version of a song is being played and a self-described "artist" moves their mouth to the words being sung, stimutaneously dancing in a choegraphed fashion.

4)Fake talent. Also known as acid reflux.

1)"Did you hear about that band Milli-Vanilli that was around before you were born? They started the whole lip-syncing trend. apparently it caught on..."
