When you set the stage for a dad joke but shut it down before the joke becomes a dad joke.

Me: I'm tired...
My dad: Hi tired, I'm--
Me: No dad joke!
My dad: Dammit.

a rape joke is when someone who hasn't been raped makes a joke about other rape survivors and it hurts them.
