A sometimes derogatory, usually joking adjective used to describe nerds and grinders. People who fit this description are extremely interested in STEM, (allegedly) intellectually superior, elitist, overly hardworking, and have few personality traits beyond studying and sweating. In some circumstances, the word 'squid' may be used as praise. Generally, a squid will evolve through the following stages: baby squid--> calamari squid--> giant squid--> colossal squid--> kraken. The squid is also the official mascot of the math team and is used on all the merch.

A person who has absolutely no care for their personal health or wellbeing whilst on a motorcycle. They are usually but not limited to being young and inexperienced in riding but still gets a turbo hayabusa they found for 4k off Craigslist or eBay as a "project bike" to "grow into" and like to think that the are the reincarnation of the lord Rossi himself. They are usually in packs on the long straights of the highway with shorts and t shirt as their only means of safety. The common bikes for a squid are; any 1000 cc or 600cc inline 4 supersport, high displacement naked bikes, turbo hayabusas that look like they're gonna go up in flames if the throttle is open more than 60 %
