west side chicago

The part of Chicago that gets the least media coverage mostly through television and film, unlike South Side Chicago, the North Side of town and of course, the Loop in downtown for some reason.

Movies on the South Side Chicago: Barbershop parts 1 & 2. Big Shots (a 1987 movie in South Side of town where a boy gets jumped by 2 punks in the beginning of the movie.) Save The Last Dance (2001) where a young ballerina moves in with her dad on, yes, you guessed it, on the South Side. I never see movies that happen on the west side of Chicago. Yes, the west side Chicago is of urban decay, but so is the south side.

flip side of the same coin

Is where in essence either which way you go you are achieving essentially the same ends.

For example a sales man giving you the choice of buying a red car or the blue car. It doesn't matter which car you buy because either way you are buying the car.

Also creating two different sides that will achieve the same end result of dividing people up which relates to the divide and conquer military strategy.

Marketing focuses on convincing people to buy a product when sales focuses on the best way to sell the product, and so they are essentially work towards the same ends. They are the flip side of the same coin.

Also look up the illusion of choice and good cop bad cop.. Bottom line is think outside the box!

moss side

Moss Side is a fairly small, deprived, inner city area of Manchester with a big attitude. Inhabited by some of the most violent gangs in the country, walking the streets at night there is more dangerous than walking around Baghdad with a tshirt saying "IM A NIEVE BRITISH TOURIST, KIDNAP ME!". The only reason outsiders go to Moss Side is to score drugs or pick up prostitutes, otherwise people just avoid the place all together. Even cops dont like to patrol the streets on foot.

Many people call Moss Side the Compton of England. They are wrong. Compton is the Moss Side of America. Moss Side and its surrounding areas actually have a higher murder rate per capita than Compton.

Moss Side. A great place to leave.
