Manhattan Break

When one stops working, say at one's machinist job or in their studio, makes a Manhattan cocktail, and proceeds to drink it before returning to work. Variations include drinking the Manhattan with a friend, in a small group, or while staring out the window.

person 1: Oh shit, let's go down to Shawn's studio, it's about time he took a Manhattan Break.
person 2: ofuckyeah, he makes his own sweet vermouth and it's the shit.
person 1: cool let's go.
