Basically, all the math experts panic because they don't know what to call Liars. They concern "acting on" stuff that is "smooth" and have "many symmetries". Disputes regarding Lie groups' classification (techincally finite groups of Lie type iirc) happen due to isomorphisms and very similar properties. Derived from the classification of finite simple groups, Lie groups can exhibit unexpected isomorphisms with other types of groups. So we have no clue how to classify them.
