going Riggs

1. When one is agitated to the extreme and proceeds at going into such a blind rage that seemingly nothing is capable of stopping him/her. Usually the ensuing violence is on a very personal level and the entire group of opponents is always killed or incapacitated. Preferably, it must be so noticeable that the other side of the planet will go “What the hell was that?”

*Based on when Martin Riggs from "Lethal Weapon" gets severely pissed. When he’s “gone Riggs”, gun shots, broken ribs, dislocated shoulders, explosions, and people with diplomatic immunity stand no chance at keeping him at bay.

Also "going to code", "gone to code". Flatlining or some other kind of medical emergency where the person is dying or near death. Comes from hospital codes for cardiopulmonary arrest, e.g. Code Blue, Code Red.

go burls

An authentic phrase, straight from the weight room of Tumwater High School, located in TumH2o, T-Town, or Tumwater, Washington. It's my belief that the first use of this phrase was during the powerlift of an illiterate redneck. He seemed to have overheard someone say the word burly in reference to strength. The redneck was intrigued. So at the hardest point during his lift he yelled "Go Burls!!!!!!", Not being able to fully annunciate the 'Y' in burly due to the tobacco in his lip, he immediatley replaced it with an 'S', he single handedly started the "go burls" generation. Many people have gone burls since, and everyone continues to, it has become the slogan of many a Tumwater sports team.

Kelly- Hey man, what are you doing?

Drew- Getting ready to go burls.
