Taken from TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read), TMK;DR refers to Japanese writing (especially on Internet social networking sites) utilizing a lot of kanji (with which English-speakers tend to be less-familiar), compared to katakana and hiragana, which English-speakers learn more easily, as they are more like an English alphabet.
