The school is fed from kids who live in Washington Township (Long Valley) and has approximately 1350 students. Many used to know the school for its good athletics in the Iron Hills Devision and rival with its sister school in Mendham. Many also used to know the school for its great academic level and extracurricular activities. Unfortunately, West Morris Central has lost school spirit (for many reasons) and has become an object of derision.
