If a daddylad proclaims his lad as being gooched, it means the lad undertakes all his duties for his daddylad with care and consideration in a selfless manner. A gooched lad is proud to be classed as so, and can frequently be seen around the submarine flaunting his high status in front of other clean or unclaimed lads.
