"gay" is an adjective that in modern usage refers to homosexuality and bomber is refer to attack with intention of taking out an area or a base. Even if it will make one-self look gay in order to take down the other person.

Roosevelt told a gay joke to Hieu. Even though Hieu didn't do or say anything; Hieu just simply comes off "gay" to everyone when Roosevelt came onto him. Roosevelt just drop a gay-bomber on Hieu. People now question Hieu's sexuality.
