He is the son of legendary Denver Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey, and has three other brothers, all of which play football. His oldest brother Max, is currently a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49'ers. His middle older brother Christian, currently plays running back for the Carolina Panthers. His youngest older brother Dylan, is currently a quarterback for the University of Michigan.
