A nickname used to describe the type of person who is gone hunting year-round while his wife and kid(s) stay at home. This person also needs to shave that beard off—it looks like shit.

A colloquial synonym for redneck.

Person 1: "Hey do you know if 'you know who' is back from his fishing trip?"
Person 2: "Yeah he got back a few days ago and then took off again to go deer hunting. His wife was pretty pissed."
Person 1: "Sounds about right—what a total bubba."
