Getting so emotionally invested in a book that you think about it for days on end. Characterized by sadness experienced when the book is over and the realization that one will never have the opportunity to feel the way they did reading it for the first time.

I finished reading the last Jhumpa Lahiri novel and have the worst book hangover.

Social Contact Hangover

(Noun) A condition which primarily affects Neurodivergents, most often Autistics and ADHDers.
It results from prolonged exposure to social behavior in quantities that tend to exceed their normal tolerance level.
Most commonly occurring around major holidays.
Symptoms include lethargy. withdrawal, and hyper-focusing on tasks which the individual finds calming and/or distracting, all in an attempt to recharge their "Shields" or "Bubbles", essentially reclaiming the buffer zone they construct in order to deal with the world at large

"Seriously, I love my family. But after the Christmas Party last night I am totally bea and have Social Contact Hangover. I'm going to grab a Monster, turn off the lights, and binge every episode of Scrubs today."

Buffet Hangover

The result of one eating until their stomach is at, or over, the limit of what it can contain. People commonly are diagnosed with "buffet hangover" at places where there is no limit to how much one can eat, such as a buffet or events/holidays which involve large quantities of food.

The common symptoms of "buffet hangover" include;
- laziness
- drowsiness
- stomach pains
- nausea

Depending on your age and what you ate, other symptoms may include;
- heart-burn
- food poisoning
- diarrhea
- excessive vomiting

Example 1:
"Man, I should not have went to that party on an empty stomach. I totally had a buffet hangover!"

Example 2:
"Jack had a buffet hangover at that new all-you-can-eat place. He spent all night barfing up a storm!"

Atlanta hangover

The emotional and physical pain Atlanta Falcons fans have after 60 minutes of heart racing football. Sometimes followed by disowning the team entirely, or boasting about the comeback the players made. Physical side effects include, heart racing, headaches, sweaty palms, and gnashing of teeth.

Jim: "Dude I have a headache after that game."
Freddy: "must be that Atlanta Hangover, man."

hangover red

A color of skin which is only achieved through an underestimation (or over-consumption) of the sun's UV rays resulting in deeply burnt skin. Touching this colored skin will result in a warm sensation felt by the one touching the skin and a very unpleasant, painful sensation by the one owning the skin.

In the movie "The Hangover", this is the skin color that Doug had when his buddies found him on the roof of the Caeser's Palace.

After those longs hours spent in the California sun, my skin is less of a "tan" color and more of a "hangover red". *sad face*
