Tourist Two Step

When your walking in a store, or a crowded area and you come in contact with another walker in your direction. You see this person coming so you decide your going to move over, but the other person sees you coming too and they think the same. You guys end up crossing paths and you both do a little akward two step movement to get out of the oncoming persons way.

I was walking through the mall, when a lady started walking in my direction. In a nervous panic I tried to get out of her way but I ended up doing the tourist two step to avoid her.

two step

1) a "dance" step done to hardcore music, alternating pinwheeling arms and crossover legs. derived from the skanking done in the ska movement, it's similar in rhythm, but much more agressive. it seems simple at first glance but the motion is acctually quite hard to pick up and hold onto for long periods of time.

2) a general annoyance. try having any kind of pit while kids are two stepping and all it gets you in an elbow in the face. any less than five two steppers can be overtaken by a rushing of the pit... sometimes a loose circle piut can be formed... & if there's any more than five... that is one fucking huge venue that you're in, buddy.

Neville Step

Noun
A step on a staircase that is unlike the other steps. It is usually spaced closer together or farther apart than the other steps or has some other kind of deformity. Any or all of the above cause people to trip over it on a regular basis even though they climb that set of stairs frequently.

Derived from the character Neville Longbottom's habit in the Harry Potter series to forget to skip a vanishing step and subsequently get stuck in the staircase.

*step, step, step, trip, fall*
"Dang it! That's the third time today I've tripped over the Neville step!"
