Ping in text messaging means “where you at?” Like submarines use sonar to “ping” each other to determine proximity or location you “ping” some one via text they return a text with their location and/or heading.

I text my buddy: “Ping!”
response: “14th and 8th Ave. headed to F train to LES (lower east side)

The conjunction of Posh and Minge.

This word refers to bang tidy Posh girls. The likes who reside in areas such as Richmond or Teddington.

The opposite can be referred to as Dinge (Dutty Minge).

"Let's go to Richmond tonight...they have some gangsta Pinge"

Pinged

The earliest stage of alcohol consumption, when one is just barely aware of the chemical's interaction with the brain, but not buzzed yet. As close to sober as possible, but not 100%. Usually occurs within the first couple drinks, but it varies from person to person.

One might think they are pinged after a few swigs of a drink, not because the alcohol is actually affecting their brain, but because they think they should be feeling something already. This is a placebo effect, and causes people to loosen up for no apparent reason and others to call them lightweights.

Pinged is often the only state where one can be confident they are below the drink-drive limit.

Bob: How much you had?
Dweezil: Just two beers, I'm still cool to drive.
Bob: You sure? You're not even buzzed yet?
Dweezil: Nah, just pinged.
