premature inebriation

The act of getting drunk too soon before a scheduled drinking event, often caused by excitement for that event.

Pumped for the game tomorrow, they stayed up late and broke into the tailgate booze. Their premature inebriation left them too hung over to cheer the next day.

When you go to a concert and think a song is finished. You start to clap and realize the song is not done, just a momentary break. This is a premature clapulation.

At the Neil Young concert, there was a momentary silence in the middle of a song. Everyone started to clap and then the song continued. This was a premature clapulation.

Repeating something you overheard or read on facebook without knowing if its true or not.

Talking about what goes on at "band camp" without ever having been to band camp

The fact that she just read it off the facebook and didnt check her resources make it premature speculation
