logo community

A (chiefly online) small and still not even semi-mainstream community of people who share their unusual passion for production logos/vanity cards.

The community has existed since Usenet groups of the late 1990s, and since its more than 2 decades of activation, it has been a haven for those like-minded people to discuss on all things logos, on many platforms such as YouTube, and AVID Wiki (the former CLG Wiki) with its forums and Discord servers.

Some staples of the logo community include: the "scary logos", the "cheesy/bad logos", No. Entertainment, the lost T.A.T Communications Company logo, LARDLOGO, Broken Saw, ENunn and many more.

There also is a controversial side of the logo community, dubbed "logokids" WORD SHOULD BE USED WITH CAUTION IN THE COMMUNITY, meaning the immature children in the logo community which engage in activities such as joining YouTube troll groups, making sparta remixes, "shuric scans" and Total Drama Island/BFDI videos, liking logos such as Klasky-Csupo and other children's logos and the infamous "logo horror remakes". Despite this being a fairly recent problem in the logo community, the matured people still manage to stay strong.
The logo community is honestly one of the best things that ever happened to me on the internet. So many years and memories of seeing logo content and connecting with people regarding this niche interest of us. Really like this thing tbh.

Harper Community SC Story

A community story on Snapchat that was launched exclusively for students with a Harper College email address to join and view others' posts, categorized by graduation year. Initially, the community stories received minimal activity, with little engagement. However, it gradually gained popularity and started featuring a wide range of stories from Harper students, including everyday experiences, teacher and class recommendations, and memes.
Unfortunately, this positive momentum took a turn when certain individuals began posting stories related to political and religious topics. These posts annoyed and frustrated other Harper viewers, prompting them to share and express their opinions on the matter within the community stories. As time went on, the situation escalated, with people calling out others who disagreed and/or insisting to stop sharing political or religious content in the community story in which the majority of students were in agreement and still are today. Due to being a friendly, welcoming community story and not a place to post and share sensitive topics, some individuals are now taking advantage of the platform to share ideas centered around these controversial subjects, leading to controversy among the students and others.
Friend 1: ”Have you seen the latest stories on the Harper community stories on Snapchat?”
Friend 2: “ Yeah, it’s sad and unfortunate. Every other day, someone has to post a sensitive topic and not even a day later, boom.. it’s a shitshow.”

Friend 1: “I just don’t understand why they have the audacity to share this kind of sensitive content. This really defeats the whole purpose of a community story when you have people abusing it as a way to cause conflict and chaos later on.”
Friend 2: “I agree. The Harper Community SC Story should be used to post content free of inappropriate, political, and religious topics.”

Twitter community note

A witter community note is when a tweet is so false and so incorrect that people in twitter forget their disagreements for a second just to prove someone, or even YOU wrong. Finding a twitter community note is basically finding a seal of approval that whatever you have seen is made purely out of stupidity.
Guy 1: Hey, have you seen this tweet? I can't believe how accurate it is.

Guy 2: It's wrong, that has a Twitter community note on it you fucking dipshit.

Gacha Community Association

The oldest organization in the gacha community founded in 2019 that serves as the servant of all gacha members. Started as a project by an unknown gacha kid's Kinemaster video that turned into a global network of offices that rival most corporations, built on nothing but love for the community of chibi dress-up game users they call "family", and sheer determination by people that believe the gacha community is "called a community and not just a fandom for a reason". It's said that the gacha community being one of the online communities with the strongest sense of identity is the main reason why an organization like GCA exists for gachas, but not for furries, therians, and the other communities similar to the gacha community's size.
Despite having owned groups like the now abolished ShadowCorp that hacked, doxed, and blackmailed hundreds of people in a systematic way in the name of protecting the gacha community, GCA remains popular in the gacha community due to it's effectiveness. Many big gachatubers work with GCA "advisors" behind the scenes due to GCA's vast network and also deep expertise in cybersecurity, digital forensics, diplomacy, and essentially any field the gacha community needs to thrive. GCA's own Charter allows for it to deal with any external threats such as cybercriminals and scammers, but bars GCA from interfering with internal affairs, such as petty dramas and controversies between gachatubers.
GachaTuber 1: Have you heard about the Gacha Community Association?

GachaTuber 2: Yeah, it's essentially #savethegachacommunity gone wrong.

GachaTuber 1: They always protected and served the gacha community though, like how they helped track down Mitsuki's scammer, ended the "6inners" suicide cult, put Gacha Fall to a end, prevented the "GachaTubers Bounty" from happening, and more! I can focus on making gacha content knowing I'm protected both online and in real life, especially since people seem to want to kill us for using a chibi dress up app for no reason.

GachaTuber 2: But if they constantly toy with the law while they do the aforementioned, is it worth it? GCA serves it's purpose but it's not an organization I would want to be associated with.

GachaTuber 1: I guess this is what you call choosing the lesser evil.

GachaTuber 2: Whatever you say man...
