South River High School

A run down school in Edgewater, Maryland. It is known or being very trashy/redneck and ghetto. People that don't go here think that this school is very nice, but students from South River will tell you how shitty it really is. The walls are made out of cardboard cause we're ghetto like that.

New student: "This school smells like doo doo and is very redneck and overcrowded."
Old student: "Welcome to Murrica...I mean South River High School."

Ricer

A compact car, usually of Japanese make, that is often fitted with stupid looking accessories like rear wings, stickers of racing parts that you can bet are not even to be found on the car, body kits that scrape the ground, clear tail lights, and a noisy ass exsaust that sounds really annoying. Often painted in polarizing colors or patchy-looking primer. These cars are strictly for youngsters.
Ricers are, for the most part, far more show than go.

hi-riser

At first, a box Chevy on 20 inch wheels. More recently (2006) any older General Motors car on tall chrome wheels and preferably with outrageous candy color paint job, custom interior, big sound, and juiced up engine. A popular trend in the Southeast USA.

Hi-Risers have been appearing in numerous rap videos of late and are becoming the car of choice for the hood because of their bold colors and huge 'how the Hell did they make those fit?' chrome shoes.

American Ricer

American-manufactured vehicles with all the 'thrills' of import ricers. Typically featuring a four banger engine and sometimes come included with (or added by the owner) a forced induction system. While these are sometimes accepted as 'better' than import ricers because they have American manufactured badges on them, they still are cheaply made, easily mass-produced vehicles that- like any vehicle- can be made 'faster' with a turbocharger. Often seen with giant unneccissary wings- improperly labeled as a spoiler (as they are front-wheel drive), a fart cannon, and altezza lights.

The most typical american ricers are the Dodge Neon, Chevy Cavalier, Chevy Cobalt, and the Ford Focus.
