Possibly a shortening of "sit on (own's) ass".

Just because I am able to figure out shit above and beyond does not mean that I should be required to so that everyone else can sit ass. I am very good at sitting ass, too.

Bert Kreischer sit-ups is a highly competitive exercise competition requiring each participant to insert a well lubricated prosthetic penis and or phallic shaped object(s) into the anus prior to performing maximum effort sit-ups.
