Re, also known as Ra in America, is the Egyptian sun god and the main Egyptian god (Because the sun gives life and is a significant part of Egypt's terrain) and was said to rule every aspect of the world: the sky, the earth, and the underworld, so many Egyptian pharaohs claimed to be chosen by Re (If they were dethroned, they would say that they had lost Re's favor) He is usually depicted as a human with a falcon head, a falcon, a beetle, a snake, and others I do not have the time or energy to list. During the Middle Kingdom period, he was especially famous. His wife is Hathor.
