The L Word

As everyone familiar with popular culture knows, “lambda” is the "L" word. In mathematical logic and computer science, lambda calculus is a formal system designed to investigate function definition, function application and recursion. It was introduced by Alonzo Church and Stephen Cole Kleene in the 1930s as part of an
investigation into the foundations of mathematics, but has emerged as a useful tool in the
investigation of problems in computability or recursion theory, and forms the basis of a
paradigm of computer programming called functional programming.

I'll use The L Word in my computer science project.

Droppin L's

A situation in which a male engages in sexual intercourse with a older woman known as a MILF(Mom I'd Like to Fuck). This acronym then changes into MIF(Mom I Fucked). This term insinuates that one is planning on or has had sex with a said MILF.

Luke: Dude theres so many milfs around town during blossom.
Will: Ohhh yes yea, lets start droppin L's.
Andrew: This is my town.

Take the L

Originally taken from the iconic Chicago Cubs 'Win' and 'Loss' flags for almost 80 years, since 1937. Since the Cubs had such a great (2016) season from the start, and most people bet on them winning, cubs fans were making a "meme" out of the L flags to mean "take a loss". However, no other team in the league uses these flags, they just use their phones...
