Deep in the crusty areas of the eastern coast of the United States you have very ghetto people who say the word ‘im hip’.

Im hip means I know.
Hip means to know.

Ex:

Im hip - I know

Get me hip - tell me
She’s/he’s hip - she/he knows

We were hip - we knew

(And so on).

Random: “Barbie is such a hoe for Ken.”
Me : “yeah im hip, she always talks about it.”

This genre of music is the MOST POPULAR with teenagers. Usually boys like this style, although some really cool girls are into it aswell. These types of songs would usually have a really good beat, and be easy to dance to (this is what makes it so awesome). Rap is in this genre aswell.
Some good artists are:

Akon, Chamillionaire, T.I., DJ Khaled, Kanye West, 2Pac and 50 Cent.

Small talk starter: Soo.. What music do you like?
Cool person who likes hip-hop: Oh, i like hip-hop mostly
Small talk person: Oh.. thats cool.

hip kid and hector the raddest couple that has ever existed which are not afraid to express how much they love each other. You can find them at places like coffee shops, book stores, parks, etc. (if not they are on the phone) they love holding hands, hugging,kissing, making out, take pictures, and drink coffee.
