Circlejerk

A Circlejerk, as it relates to politics, is when a group of people with the same political ideology "discuss" political topics. The resulting discussion is completely pointless due to the group already having the same ideas. The participants usually have not had a political discussion with one of the opposing political side and make absurd generalizations about the opposite side, demonizing them as much as possible. It is impossible for one of the opposing views to join in the activity because that would defeat the purpose of the activity.

Jerkoff 1: So uh... America fucking sucks.
Jerkoff 2: Yeah, man, it's run by a literal Nazi. Like... worse than Hitler.
Jerkoff 1: Totally, and it has like... a billion school shootings every month.
Jerkoff 3: Yeah, man.
Normal Person: Do you really think Trump is *worse* than Hitler?
Jerkoff 2: Fuck off, racist.
Jerkoff 3: That man is such a low-IQ bigot. Like, did he really just ask that question?
Jerkoff 1: I know, man. Anyone with a brain knows that Trump is like... worse than Super Hitler.
Normal Person: Ugh... can't win against idiots during their circlejerk.

circle the drain

"A service economy that doesn't produce anything will circle the drain until it has spent all of it's savings (wealth)."

A productive economy produces wealth because they have something to sell that the rest of the world wants. When a country no longer produces anything, and simply spends money feeding one-another at fast food places, buying foriegn oil and toys, they are only spending savings until it's all gone and the economy will circle the drain. Spending money on bullets doesn't help either, but mostly a failing economy can be characterized by asking if any money is flowing into the country. If the answer is no, down we go.

Circle Run

An annual summer tradition among male expatriates residing in Moscow, Russia. The event involves the consumption of one beer (0.5L) outside each of the stations on line #5 Koltsevaya (Кольцевая) of the Moskovsky metropoliten subway system. The Koltsevaya line performs a loop around the center of Moscow which allows the event to start and end at the same location. At each respective subway station, the beer may be consumed in a restaurant, bar or purchased at a kiosk and consumed on the street - but never more than 150 meters from the entrance to the respective station. Highlights of the run include conversations with inebriated homeless locals, avoiding eye contact with police officials, and heated debates over the appropriate locale for the post-run celebration. In order to be socially responsible during the event, participants very often volunteer to help tutor certain single females met along the way to improve their English language abilities.

Circleville is a city in and the county seat of Pickaway County, Ohio, United States, set along the Scioto River, 25 miles south of Columbus. The population was 13,314 at the 2010 census. The city is best-known today as the host of the Circleville Pumpkin Show, an annual festival held since 1903.
