Any instance where two or more people fight to hear something such as a t.v. or another person.

i.e.

"Josh, turn down the t.v., I can't hear American Idol!"

*turns t.v. up*

*Josh turns t.v. up as well*

"Uh-oh, you just started a volume war."

War tactic that takes place at work, office usually, when a colleague comes up to another and stamps him/her with office stamp, such as DRAFT, VOID, COPY, etc., on a random body part (wrist, leg, face?) and casually walks away

Josh War

If we are talking about the reddit thing, called "Josh" or "Josh Swain War" then all you need to know is about one guy called Josh Swain who found on messenger many other guys called Josh Swain. Then the "original" Josh added them to the chat group and challenged them to meet in 24. April 2021 and fight for their names. Who wins can keep the name, losers must change them.

I think you will understand after googling "Josh Swain" and then pictures. Don't type Josh War, it won't find anything
