One who insists that their diet is more ethical, despite the fact that millions of animals are killed every year in the adding of insecticide to and harvesting of their food.
Will someone shut this vegan up?

Get the Vegan mug.
A) Someone who eats nothing that has anything to do with animals. Nothing... at all. Nope, not even milk, soymilk, but not milk. They do not realize that plants are living things too, with children and parents, and brothers and sister. I actually just eat plastic, lets hope to god that it doesnt turn out to be alive.

B) 2nd step to becoming a Nazi.
Billy is a vegan, he eats nothing except plants. Too bad, though. The little cabbage never saw it coming. *sniff*

Damn plant eaters...

Get the Vegan mug.
Someone who does not use any animal products (which is near impossible). It has been proven that to be a vegan one must have a ridiculous superiority complex. This is often mistaken by the vegan and other vegans as enlightenment. This massive ego stimulation often results in insulting "meat-eaters" undeservedly, and the delusion that they are actually making a change. This also involves constant bragging about how much they love the lifestyle.
1. "If you are not a vegan, you are a terrible, terrible person incapable of feeling compassion or love because you can stomach the thought of killing a cow. Hold on, I have to finish my tofu and soy milk."
2. "As a vegan, I would sooner kill one human infant than two cows."
(Note: Number 2 is a direct quote from a vegan I know.)

Get the Vegan mug.
Someone who cares about the suffering of sentient creatures, and therefore does not consume eggs, milk, or meat, as well as abstaining from wearing animals or using products tested on them.

Meat-eaters are harmful to the environment, not vegans. They are the main cause of world hunger by wasting land to feed overbred cows who will become tortured and killed. Meat is an inefficient resource, and also requires a lot of oil in production. Don't say veganism is bad for the environment.

God warned against animal cruelty, and preched compassion. Many references made to meat were metaphoric or not referring to flesh. Most scholars believe Jesus didn't even eat fish, so don't use the pseudo-Christian argument either.

Finally, b12 and protein can be obtained from plants. Beans, nuts, and seeds are rich in protein, and many other plant based foods contain it as well. Seaweed, yeast, and raw organic foods have b12, and it also can be grown as a bacteria.

Debeaking, beating, tail-docking, ear-clipping, confinement, etc. aren't humane. There's no excuse for not being vegan.

The arguments against veganism are very ignorant.

The word vegan means compassion.
Woah, that person cares about the world, she must be a vegan.

A word that seems like it should rhyme with pagan, even though it does not. For instance, you never hear of a vee-ge-ta-ri-an or a vee-ge-ta-ble, yet it's vee-gan.
My friend Megan is a vegan pagan, flashin' mo' bling than Menachem Begin.

Get the vegan mug.
A person who realizes that eating animal products and by products is not ok.Knows that everyone isnt vegan and accepts that. This person usually also realizes that billions of rabbits, mice, insects, and other animals are killed in grain processing, and resents that, but does not understand how people who eat grains AND animal products can say this because these things are equally cruel.Has less percentage of getting various cancers than meat eaters and vegetarians.Contrary to popular belief, actually cares about other people and their ideas because everyone has the right to express their feelings for or against veganism.
Dude: Hey want this well done steak?

Vegan: Nah, I'm vegan.

Dude: Wow, how do you survive? I mean doesnt milk have protein and stuff?

Vegan: Yup, but soy milk has the same amount and less fat and I can take supplements if I feel like I'm not getting my vitamins.

Dude:Oh ok, I've never had anyone explain it to me that way, I guess vegans arent that bad after all.

Vegan:Aww thanks, can you pass the peas?

Get the vegan mug.
One who clings to an absurd, phoney "ethic" that is wholly unsupported.

"Vegans" are, almost without exception, juvenile, whiny, soppy, clueless urbanites. They ALWAYS start by claiming to live a "cruelty-free" lifestyle, until the horrible flaw in their own claim is pointed out to them; namely, that tens of thousands of animals are killed in producing the supermarket veggies they happily shovel into their big, fat, gaping pie-holes.

"Vegans" then ALWAYS retreat to claiming they somehow cause "less harm" than non-vegans. This is also unsupportable; someone who buys a half of a grass-fed beef (many, many meals for one death) is certainly causing "less harm" than a whiny, drippy "vegan" shoveling supermarket rice into their cake-hole (many deaths for one meal.)

"Veganism" is sanctimonious self-righteousness parading as an "ethic;" the "ethical" claims of "vegans" are recognized as false by anyone with more than three active brain cells. "Vegans" follow no moral principle; only a cheap, easy, and stupid rule: "Don't put animal parts in your mouth."

The animals killed by "vegans" matter to them not at all - NOT AT ALL - as long as they don't have to see the carcasses.
