An individual whose sexuality is defined, not by another
person's sex or
gender; but by the other person's inclination and ability to simp/cater towards the simpsexual individual's unique personality, traits, and desires.
Not to be confused with bisexual, pansexual, or demisexual. A simpsexual's own sexuality is determined per se, on the basis of being catered to, platonically; as the primary point of interest, to pursue a
relationship.
The counterpart to a simpsexual individual, is a simp individual. Similar to how the counterpart to a narcissistic individual (simpsexual) would be an empathic individual (simp).
Santiago: "You are not the problem, Marissa. Mylo is just a very self-absorbed
guy! He is a narcissist; a simpsexual. If you want his attention, you are going to have to pander to his needs more; engage within those intricate topics which he's passionate about. I know this, because I am a simpsexual myself!"
Marissa: "Oh wow! How is that fair? As a simpsexual yourself, isn't that considered a one-sided
relationship?"
Santiago: "Perhaps, in your case; if you're not compatible with Mylo's unique interests! It's really not a one-sided
relationship, but a compatibility issue. He's just flipping the heteronormative script. Men generally simp for women; all the time! What about a
man's needs? Much like myself; Mylo simply knows better. It's going to take a
real empath, to engage men like us into a
relationship. That way, things won't be one-sided, but intrinsically mutual! He's just a
guy who knows what he wants."
Marissa: "Oh! Okay, I get it now. That does make sense. I suppose me and Mylo would not be a good fit then; based on all of our differing interests. Maybe I'm also a simpsexual, too!! I sure do like it when men cater to me."
Santiago: "Maybe you are simpsexual—I'd say, there's a good chance you are. In which case, what you really need; is a simp. Mylo is no simp! And neither am I, Marissa. The three of us should all get together, and go simp-hunting!"
Marissa: "Good idea! Let's give Mylo a call then, to embrace not only our differences, but also; our simpsexuality."
