A sociological and linguistic doomsday model proposing that a society's capacity for sincerity, professionalism, and critical thinking is being permanently dissolved by the over-saturation of memes, irony, and "brainrot" content.

As memes become increasingly abstract—infecting basic integers (e.g., "6-7"), common verbs (e.g., "lit," "come"), and neutral gestures—they "erode" the serious layer of human language. For example, if you were to use “death” to describe “dismantling an institution”, and someone takes offence. They were to say, “hey saying death to an institution is just as bad as murdering babies and committing genocide.”You could call that person an Anti-Semantic.
